These CO2 cartridges are for routine maintenance of the Mosquito Magnet. I use them as the instructions advise. I've used our Mosquito Magnet every summer for four years and it works great. You MUST position the MM correctly, however. If you don't, it doesn't work.br /You have to actually READ and FOLLOW the instructions -- odd idea, I guess.

Mosquito Magnet 214-003 Quick-Clear Cartridge (3-Pack) Feature

• Quick Clear CO2 cartridge helps to clear residue from inside of the Mosquito Magent
• For use with straight or L-shaped adapter on models manufactured in 2003 or later
• Preventive maintenance only: not necessary for assembly or operation of Mosquito Magnet
• For optimal performance the Quick Clear should be used every 2 tank changes
• This item is not for sale in Catalina Island

For use with the Quick-Clear Valve on your Mosquito Magnet. The Quick-Clear should be used at every two propane tank changes in order to remove residue build-up inside of the Mosquito Magnet.
